TED TALK'S: HOW AMAZON, APPLE, FACEBOOK AND GOOGLE MANIPULATE YOUR EMOTIONS

The combined market capitalization of Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google is now equivalent to the GDP of India. Scott Galloway shares stats about their dominance and motivation and what happens when a society prizes shareholder value over everything else.
Our competitive advantage as species is our brain. It have the capacity of formulate difficult questions, but it don't have the capacity to answer it. We need a God, and actually this is Google.  Facebook taps in our instinctive need to be loved and love others. Amazon is our consumptive gut. Apple isn our basic instinct, sex.
The key to business is tapping into the irrational organs. And this companies have disarticulated who we are for convince our that we need their products. This companies are controlling the world market, and is our fault. We've personified these companies, and this is a problem, because there are dominating the world.
(On the speech he mentions some examples that reinforce his theory).

In my opinion, I agree with this theory. I think that this companies are monopolizing (not exaggerated but monopolizing) the world. They have the control of the most important social networks (Facebook), world market (Amazon), technology products (Apple) and Internet (Google). And people are addict to it, there are necessaries in our live. We have created a need of this services, and it's not good, because they can do what they want and we don't do nothing for change it.

DOES HUMOR PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN LIFE?

Humor can change your feelings, your emotions and it can be a medicine for your lives. It's good that humor is part of your life. Laughter is the better than crying. And laughing with people is better than laughing alone.
If you feel sad, alone or stressed, you can see a funny video, picture or film to relax. When you laugh your body feels better animically.
Another big truth is that if you have funny moments and laugh with your friends or your family, your relationship becomes and stronger. Humor is very important to spend great moments with the persons that you love, because humor joins people.
And you can have a full life with an expensive house and car, a healthy body and a lot of money but be sad because you don't have funny moments. Sometimes humor is better than money or material thgings. Humor can make you happier than a car, a house or a lot of money.
In conclusion, humor plays an important role in your life, because it is the base of happines.

SELE WRITING 1

There are two friends talking by phone about what they want to do this afternon.

ANTHONY: Hello Jimmy, how are you? Are you ready for a shopping day?

JIMMY: Hello Anthony, I'm ok. I'm ready for a shopping day, but no today, sorry. My mother isn't at home, and I need her for the money.

ANTHONY: No problem, it's better because if we go tomorrow we take advantage of all the bargains! Tomorrow is Black Friday! And I'm so happy for it, because on this day I can buy expensive clothes or new games for the PS4 more economic than the rest of days.

JIMMY: Black Friday? This is the biggest fraud of the world! The companies sell their products with an attractive price for the consumers, but you are paying for the product with a higher price than it's real cost. A lot of people are exploites in Asian countries to sell you shoes with less price. This day only promotes the consumerism.

ANTHONY: But you have to understand me, I'm not rich. This day I can buy with a cheap price.

JIMMY: You aren't rich, but you don't have to live like a millionaire. You need a new pair of shoes? You have four pairs! If we go shooping, it's because I need a shirt, and you need a pair of jeans, no just to buy and buy. This is consumerism!

ANTHONY: Ok Jimmy! If you don't want to go shopping on Black Friday, we can go next week.

JIMMY: See you next week!

THE COMPANIES MAKING BYCICLES FROM WOOD

This new talk about bycicles made of wood. This was invented in 1817, and it had no chain and was powered by the rider pushing his feet along the ground in a walking or running motion. Jump forward to 2017, and a lot of bike makers is turning back the clock and taking this idea. And they have attracted a small base of enthusiastic cyclists, willing to pay high prices for wood bikes. The new talk about different fabrics who make these bikes. Normally they have wooden frames; the other parts, such as the gears and wheels, are made from steel, carbon or rubber. Only one, Splinterbike in the UK, sells 100% wooden models with its bikes featuring wooden gears, chains and wheels. Prices range from $3,500 (£2,600) to $11,000 and sales grow but some cyclists think that wooden bikes be unsafe.
I think that's a good idea, because there are original and especial bikes, but it's a problem, because they cut a lot of trees for make his bikes. I'm cyclist and I think that a wood bike is unsafe, because it's easy to break.

OBAMA SPEECH REDACTION

Hello, my name is Joel Bosch, I’m 16 years old and I’m in the social branch of 2nd Batx. This is my last year in high school, and I’m a little worried about this school year. This is the most difficult school year, because we have a lot of exams in  much less time than last year, because of selectivitat. In 1st Batx I was so relaxed, and that’s the reason why my marks are worse than my possibilities. This year I have to improve my marks, and study so much more than last year. Next year I want to study law in the UB.

My short-term goals are studying a lot and better than the last years, and get better marks, because it’s so important to have a good average mark for accessing the degree that I would like to study. I want to work every day with constancy, and study before the last day. I want to improve my language levels, especially my English level and my math level. My long-term goals are studying law in the UB, and having an average of 8 in the Batx. I would like to have a good English, because I want to talk it with fluidity. I have challenges for this year too, like getting a 10 in Spanish history and having minimum a 7 in geography. One of my challenges is to pass all the philosophy exams. For obtaining this challenge I will revise the things that I do in class every day, and study three or four days before the exam in Spanish History and geography, and minimum one or two weeks before in philosophy. The person who can help me to stay on track is my mum, she always remembers me that I have to study and do my homework, because my education can help me in the future.

One of the sentences that I liked in the Obama’s speech was: “the responsibility each of you has for your education”. This is a big truth, because your parents can struggle for helping you to stay on track, your teachers can teach a lot of important and interesting things, but if you don’t pay attention and work hard to learn, it’s useless. This is the most important thing in education, the responsibility of the students in their education.

Best wishes,
Joel.

MY GAP YEAR

If I did a gap year, I would dedicate every day to ride a bike. My intention would be participate in bike races arround the world.

In this gap year I would travel to a lot of countries. In june I would participate in the first races, like Orbea Cadí Challenge, Quebrantahuesos, Irati Xtrem and Transpyr, in Spain, and the Sportful Dolomiti Race in Italy. In july I would participate only in two races, Terra de Comptes, and La Ruta Minera, in Spain. In August I would participate in La Purito Andorra, in Andorra, and travel to Itali and Switzerlad to do an stage in the Alps. In September I would train a lot, and travel arround Spain, for climb the most important mountains, like Teide, El Muro de Aia or Turó de l'home. I would participate in the Catalunya Bike Race too. In October I would participate in Épica Atcama, in Chile. This is a MTB race, and is one week long. In November I would train and travel to France, for repeat 5 stages of Le Tour de France. In the same month, I would make an Everesting Challenge, it consist in climb in one day +8000m of difference.  In december, I would travel to Cuba, for participate in the Titan Tropic. After this race, I would make a break. In january, I would began again and prepare february races. In february I would participate in Andalucía Bike Race, Costa Blanca Bike Race and Gironès MTB challenge, in Spain, and in The Pioneer in New Zeland. In March I would participate in Cape
Epic in South Africa. This is one of the hardest MTB races of the world. After Cape Epic, I would make a little break. In April, I would participate in the Tour of Flandes, in Belgium, and in the Volcat, and Girona MTB Challenge, in Catalonia. In May I would participate in the Titan Desert in Morocco, and in Orbea Monegros, Terra de l'Aigua, Terra de Remences, La Rioja Bike Race and Cerdenya MTB Challenge in Spain.

I don't think that make a gap year is positive, because you disconect a lot of the studies, and you lose the habit of study. But if I have to make a gap yer, I want that this has been a cyclist year. This gap year can make me so happy.
