In The Horniman Museum in London, have created robotic animals for show children how the natural world works. An example is platypus, has large flashing red lights on its bill which represent the animal’s electroreceptors, which pick up electrical pulses given off by anything alive. People who went to see the exposition can use a bat sonar and see animals who normally are only on books. The exposition use velcro to show how the houseflys can stay on the wall or eat his food.
I think it's a good idea, especially for children, because they can see animals that they can't normally see, or understand how is the animal world.
